Demo Mode

See the product filled with sample data — and know when you are looking at it.

Demo Mode fills every dashboard with sample trading, so you can see what a surface looks like populated before you have data of your own. The switch is in the Trading accounts drawer in the navbar, at the top of the Account Overview card. While it is on, a DEMO badge sits in the top bar of the dashboards it is changing, which is how you can tell at a glance.

Watch what does not move. The cards, their titles and their menus are identical either way — only the figures change.

Nothing in Demo Mode is yours. The figures are a worked example — useful for learning where a number lives, useless for deciding anything.

When it earns its keep

  • On day one, before an account has finished syncing, so the product is not a page of empty states
  • When you want to see what a card does before committing to reading yours
  • When someone is showing you the product and your own P&L is not their business

Two things to know

  • It is rememberedthe choice survives a reload and is applied before the page paints, so you never catch a flash of real figures on the way in.
  • It is per browser, not per accountturning it on at work does not turn it on at home. That is worth knowing before you wonder why your laptop and your desktop disagree.

If a figure ever looks wrong, this is the first switch to check — the second is the account picker, and the third is the date range.
