What an open trade is in Alltra Tracker

An open trade in Alltra Tracker is a position with no closing fill yet. Alltra builds trades from your broker’s fills, so a synced position sits in the Trades table with its Status reading open and no exit date. A partial exit does not close it; the trade closes only once the position is flat.

When a synced position closes, Alltra Tracker completes the open trade rather than adding a second one. A derived trade keeps its identity through the fill that opened it, so the closing fill updates that same row with its exit date, exit price and net result, and the notes and tags you added while the position was open stay on the trade.

How a position reads until it closes

An open position in Alltra Tracker counts toward none of the performance figures: every figure on the Performance board is realised, so a trade you are still holding does not move Net P&L and has no outcome. Date-bounded reads compare the exit time, which an open trade lacks, so it falls outside every date window — you find it on the Trades table with no date range applied.

Auto-sync for Tradovate and TopstepX accounts in Alltra Tracker can only fill in an exit it has received. When a broker session lapses, the connection pauses and its accounts show an amber Reconnect control in Trading accounts. A position closed during that pause still reads open until the connection is renewed and the next pass collects the missed fills, as the guide to when an account stops syncing explains.

The Home economic calendar card and emotion logging

The economic calendar card on Alltra Home lists the current week’s scheduled macro releases, Monday to Sunday, in your profile’s timezone. It shows the same rows as the Economic Calendar page in Alltra Resources, cut to time, currency, impact tier and event, and clicking a row opens that page. The guide article on the Today row covers its high-impact count and what it shows when a week cannot be read.

Logging an emotion in Alltra Tracker starts from a trade: you pick one from the rail on the Emotions page, choose the states in play from a Positive and a Negative tab, and rate each from 0 to 100. The sliders are independent, and re-opening a trade you have already logged loads its saved emotions and ratings, ready to correct.
